Palisades Marquez Knolls

Residential – Pacific Palisades, CA

Remodel of a 1960's original home on the Marquez Knolls in Pacific Palisades. The original post and beam house did not take advantage of its location and the oversized pool left little outdoor space to entertain on. So we took one half of the original house down to the ground to make room for the new modern version. Gone are the exposed beams and t&g ceilings, Saltillo tile floor, and the rock textured fireplace. Clean lines and volume spaces with lots of natural light and a spectacular view. Upon stepping through the front door you are drawn through by the view of the Santa Monica bay and PV Peninsula. Walking past the dining area and kitchen and out the living room's open back wall onto the patio. All of the systems on the property were modernized and automated. All new cabinetry, heated tile floors, large clearstory windows, Fleetwood stacking door systems are just some of the features. Completed 2015. Architecture by Abramson Teiger Architects
